Made this 3 colour block print a few months back. In 1923 Babe Ruth won the World Series, broke the record for highest batting average and broke the record for lost home runs in a season with 41. The Yankees moved to a new stadium that year and even nick named it “the house that Ruth built”. To me, the best thing about that season though is that he also broke the record for number of strikeouts with 93. That’s like 300 big swings and big whiffs. There’s some kind of inspiration about trying and winning and failure or whatever.
